FROM THE AGAPE ARCHIVE: THE MODULAR ERION SYSTEM, DESIGNED BY GIAMPAOLO BENEDINI FOR
, 1975
AGAPE BATHROOMS
A symbiosis of technical expertise, architectural thinking, and Mantua’s cultural heritage shaped Agape’s identity, which endures to this day. Their approach is architectural: products do not exist in isolation but are created in dialogue with space, forming a holistic and well-considered environment. Solutions often emerge from specific architectural needs and evolve into universal objects capable of relating to various interiors.
Agape stands for timeless design that does not follow fleeting trends, but is based on enduring values—clear form, high-quality materials, and well-considered proportions. The Agape collection, which includes over 500 products, is made in Italy using high-quality materials, meticulous craftsmanship, and environmentally conscious production processes (LEED certification). Leading figures in the design world have been brought on board to create innovative pieces that feel fresh and original, rather than simply following trends.
At the same time, Agape is a deeply personal and human brand. It reflects family values, a passion for architecture, and the warmth and hospitality characteristic of Italians. Internationally acclaimed yet deeply rooted in its origins, Agape creates bathrooms that are both functional and poetic.
Since 1973, Agape has transformed the bathroom into something more than just a functional space—it has become the heart of the home, a place that stands the test of time and appeals to the senses every day. Agape’s roots lie in Mantua, in northern Italy, the hometown of the architect brothers and company founders: Giampaolo and Emanuele Benedini. With financial support from their parents and the expertise of their relatives Gianfranco and Luigi Benedini in the field of hydraulic engineering, they launched a company that has since become one of the most prominent names in the world of bathrooms.

Cristalplant® Biobased color-in-mass opens up a new dimension in the world of solid materials, where color is integrated throughout the entire material—not just applied to the surface.
It offers a new, expressive way to create durable surfaces that are uniform and easy to restore. Currently available exclusively from Agape, the material is initially presented in an elegant light gray shade, with new shades to be added in the future.

Created by Benedini Associati, Memory Classic continues Agape’s timeless Memory collection, reinterpreting the classic design language with a contemporary sensibility. This is not a direct replication of the past, but a thoughtful evolution of familiar proportions—the freestanding tub, with its soft, unbroken lines, appears both dignified and surprisingly contemporary.
The bathtub’s sculptural form is enhanced by polished Pietra del Mare, or “sea stone.” This sedimentary stone conceals nearly imperceptible traces of fossils, which give each surface a unique character and embody the quiet presence of time. Thus, the Memory Classic transforms from a mere bathtub into the focal point of the room—an object where the memory of the material, classical beauty, and Agape’s signature clean design language converge.
-
Created by Benedini Associati Sessanta got its name from its 60-centimeter diameter. Carved from a single block of marble, this flat-top sink transcends the boundaries of a conventional sink basin with its generous dimensions, offering a more comfortable user experience and enabling unexpected spatial solutions in the bathroom. Clean, circular lines and a flush-mounted drain give the piece a clean, almost sculptural appearance.
Sessanta Colonna takes this same idea a step further in the vertical direction. The rounded sink basin rests on a monolithic hexagonal marble pedestal, whose bold geometry creates a beautiful contrast with the soft form. Standing alone, the sink requires no furniture or countertop around it, but instead becomes a completely independent architectural element in the room.
Both versions are available in a variety of stone types, including Carrara, Carnico, Marquina, and Verde Alpi marble, as well as Emperador, Petit Granit, and travertine. Upon special request, the Sessanta can also be crafted from other types of marble, making each sink unique through its pattern and tone.
-
Created by Benedini Associati Perxa is a freestanding coat rack with a sculptural form that brings lightness and graphic clarity to the bathroom. Three slender, intersecting elements form a spatial composition on which you can conveniently hang a bathrobe, clothes, or towels.
Perxa serves as both a practical everyday item and a minimalist sculpture. Since it doesn’t require wall mounting, the hook can be moved freely around the room and placed exactly where it’s needed at any given moment—near the bathtub, shower, or sink. Its understated yet distinctive silhouette adds an architectural accent to the bathroom without visually overwhelming the space.
UFO Collection
-
Designed by Benedini Associati, the Ufo was first introduced in 2002 as a grand circular bathtub; its 204-centimeter diameter makes it a central, sculptural element in any space. The stainless steel tub is available with one or two backrests, as well as in a version suitable for outdoor use.
More than twenty years later, the Ufo story continues with a flat-topped sink based on the same geometry. The 60-centimeter-diameter stainless steel sink carries forward the original’s clean and recognizable form, demonstrating how Agape evolves its design classics in a measured and timeless way.
CENOTE Collection
Cenote was created in collaboration with design superstar Patricia Urquiola, whose signature style combines sensitivity, materiality, and architectural clarity.
Cenote explores the tension between raw and finished surfaces. These sinks, featuring a textured exterior and a glazed interior, are now available in new colors and, for the first time, in Cristalplant® Biobased material. Crafted by hand through a slow process, the Cenote bathtub is sculptural, deeply sensory, and designed to be the focal point of a room. The Cenote world is complemented by clay accessories—a stool, a small table, and a tray—quiet presences where imperfection and texture become assets.
BLOQUE & DIV
Patricia Urquiola Bloque explores the expressive potential of stone and wood through a clear architectural language. The modular system with integrated storage is suitable for bathrooms as well as living spaces and hotel projects. Textured front panels, offset surfaces, and balanced proportions create a piece of furniture that is both functional and space-defining.
Created by Benedini Associati Nudo XL reinterprets the classic wall panel as a contemporary modular system, transforming the wall into a space-defining architectural element. The system can be complemented with mirrors, shelves, and accessories; a new hanging cabinet adds practical storage space while maintaining visual lightness. The warm wood tone of Indian rosewood and the subtle reflections of the mirrored surfaces lend rhythm and depth to the composition. Nudo XL is a flexible, comprehensive solution that combines functionality with a clean and serene design language

Created by Castiglia Associati Div is a modular partition system developed in collaboration with Vismaravetro that allows for flexible division and organization of interior spaces. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls up to three meters high separate different functional areas while preserving the space’s openness, light, and visual integrity.
Div is suitable for both bathrooms and other living spaces and allows for a variety of design solutions, including a shower enclosure with a waterproof hinged door. The slim profiles and large glass surfaces make the system a natural part of the architecture, defining the space without making it feel closed off.

Created by Benedini Associati Memory Classic , created by Benedini Associati, reinterprets the archetype of the traditional faucet with a contemporary twist, combining classic design language with the clarity characteristic of Agape. The series’ soft lines, accentuated volumes, and rounded edges add warmth and a welcoming feel to the Memory collection’s timeless austerity.
This versatile series includes faucets for sinks, bathtubs, showers, and bidets, as well as thermostats, hand showers, and toilet flush buttons. The wide selection allows you to design your entire bathroom in a cohesive style, finding the right solution for wall-mounted, countertop, and floor-mounted installations.
-
Created by Marco Carini Rendez-vous screen translates the design language of the collection of the same name onto a vertical plane, offering a light and rhythmic solution for dividing space. The modular panels, connected by upper and lower joints, can be folded, opened, and positioned at various angles.
The cotton cords attached to the panels create a subtle interplay of transparency and texture: they filter the light and define spaces while maintaining the room’s sense of openness. Available in brown or orange, Rendez-vous adds warmth, color, and a tactile quality to the interior.
-
Created by Agape’s design team Alto is a minimalist ceiling-mounted shower series characterized by an exceptionally slim profile and a subtle, architectural design language. The AISI 304 stainless steel shower blends discreetly into the ceiling, leaving the room with a clean and serene impression.
Alto is available in three square and two round sizes, allowing you to choose a solution that suits bathrooms of various sizes and styles. Its understated geometry does not compete with the rest of the interior but complements it with natural clarity.
MARCO ZITTO: MASSICCI
For Marco Zito, glass should be given freedom. Drawing on the knowledge of artisans and his experience with Murano furnaces, his process in creating the Massicci sink is more about listening than controlling—letting the material find its own balance.
The molten glass is poured into a mold, where the cooling process leaves a fine structure on the surface — each piece is unique. Transparent or ochre-colored glass absorbs and refracts light, creating constantly changing reflections with water and space.
Massicci has also been nominated for the Elle Decor International Design Awards 2026 and received recognition at the Archiproducts Design Awards 2025.
AGAPE ICONIC PRODUCTS

Created by Benedini Associati Craft continues Agape’s tradition of modular bathroom systems, which began in 1975 with Erion. The floor-standing furniture is structurally self-supporting and can be placed against a wall, in a niche, or in the center of the room as an island solution. In this way, storage becomes an architectural element that helps define and separate different areas within an open-plan bathroom.
Craft's clean design language is complemented by Faro mirror, whose design is based on a simple combination of circles and lines. The mirror’s mounting element also serves as a light fixture, combining the two functions into a single graphic whole. Faro is available in diameters of 60 and 90 centimeters.
-
Created by Benedini Associati Ottocento sink reinterprets the classic design language through contemporary materials and a clean construction. The gently curved Cristalplant® Biobased sink rests on a graphic metal frame, complemented by a practical shelf. The series includes both single- and double-sink solutions, and various details can be finished in coordinating RAL colors.
The composition is complemented by Narciso mirror, featuring a large central section flanked by two swiveling side panels that reflect on both sides. The visible chrome-plated brass hinges highlight its construction, while the backlighting creates a soft interplay of light and shadow on the wall. Together, Ottocento and Narciso combine classic elegance with modern functionality.

The DR sink, designed by Studio MK27, Marcio Kogani, and Mariana Ruzante, comes across more as a small architectural structure than as a conventional bathroom fixture. The integrated sink and countertop form a distinct horizontal volume supported by an airy four-legged frame.
The system is complemented by a shelving unit in the same finish as the frame and, if desired, a back panel, allowing you to create compositions with different styles and functions. Clear proportions, practical storage space, and a minimalist design give the DR a bold yet balanced presence.
Designed by Benedini Associati Flat D and Flat DX shower systems reduce the shower space to its purest form. Eight-millimeter-thick glass surfaces and minimal support structures create a light, almost invisible architecture. Flat D allows for recessed profiles, while Flat DX offers simpler installation without the need for construction work. Shower elements integrated into the support rails can be positioned freely across the entire glass surface.
The clean geometry of the Flat system is complemented by a design created by Gwenael Nicolas Sen(the black element on the wall in the photo), which blends Eastern restraint with Western technology. Freestanding mixers, shower elements, and accessories combine to form a cohesive graphic line in the bathroom. Together, Flat and Sen create an airy and thoughtfully designed shower space where technical solutions blend naturally into the architecture.
FLAT & SEN
MIRRORS
Ell is an exceptionally thin and flexible countertop surface that appears in the room as a single, slender line. The Corian® or marble surface, which tapers to just 10 millimeters at the edges, can be mounted on supports, attached to furniture, or installed as a freestanding structure.
Ell Inox makes the same form even more precise and graphic. The reflective surface, made of 1-millimeter-thick AISI 304 stainless steel, blends with the light and colors of the surrounding space.
Ell Grid reduces the sink to two architectural elements: a flat surface and a drain grate. The traditional sink basin disappears, and the entire surface functions simultaneously as both a sink and a practical support surface. Available in countertop and freestanding versions in various marble, Corian®, and metal finishes.
MIRRORS
-
Created by Alessandro Andreucci Voilà combines a mirror and storage space into a single architectural whole. When closed, it blends discreetly into the wall; however, the swiveling or sliding mirror panels reveal, when needed, an interior equipped with shelves, towel holders, small containers, and electrical outlets.
The vertical elements arranged side by side lend the wall rhythm, movement, and depth, while keeping the bathroom visually clean and organized. Voilà leaves room for the tub and sink to serve as sculptural focal points, subtly adding practical functionality to the space.
-
Created by Diego Vencato and Marco Merendi Solid resembles a drop of molten metal in form, but is actually made of blown glass. A craft technique dating back thousands of years meets a modern metallization process, creating a flowing and almost sculptural frame for the mirror.
When the light is off, the metallized surface acts as a mirror. When the light is turned on, however, it becomes transparent and allows the light to shine through. In this way, Solid changes its character throughout the day, serving simultaneously as a mirror, a light fixture, and a decorative art object.
-
Created by Studiopepe Revolving Moon is a round wall mirror complemented by a movable magnifying mirror attached to a metal rod. It can be rotated to both horizontal and vertical positions, allowing the mirror to be conveniently adjusted to suit the user’s needs.
The smaller mirror’s movement around the larger circle resembles the moon orbiting a planet, giving this practical object a playful and slightly dramatic character. The black MDF mirror can be mounted so that the magnifying section is on the left or the right.

This stainless steel outdoor shower is characterized by clean geometry, a sleek construction, and a showerhead that minimizes limescale buildup. Its understated form blends naturally into a terrace, garden, or poolside setting, transforming an outdoor shower from a daily chore into an enjoyable ritual.
The design is complemented by Petit Granit marble Amuleto shower tray, whose dark and vibrant stone surface lends the composition a natural sense of weight. The integrated drain and chrome-plated cover plate keep the overall look clean and cohesive.
VIEQUES Collection
Designed by Patricia Urquiola Vieques bathtub was inspired by the interior of the W Hotel on the island of Vieques in 2008. The shape, reminiscent of a traditional tin bathtub, has been reimagined as an elegant design piece that can be complemented with an iroko wood shelf and backrest. The stainless steel version is also suitable for outdoor use.
The samba and flat-top styles continue in the same formal style Vieques sinks, which are available in white or with a light or dark gray exterior. Both bathtubs and sinks combine a nostalgic character with modern clarity and practicality. You can also take a closer look at the Vieques black bathtub in our showroom.
