In 1932, 17-year-old Holger Nielsen won a car in a lottery, and with the money he earned from selling it, he soon established a small metal factory in the small Danish town of Randers and designed the first VIPP trash can, which has become a global design icon.
VIPP has remained true to its heritage, constantly striving to enhance people’s lives through sustainable products and experiences. Drawing on Holger’s design philosophy of simplicity and functionality, VIPP created its first modular kitchen in 2011. Today, VIPP offers four kitchens with distinct looks and personalities, characterized by raised legs, stainless steel countertops, and a masterful use of metal.
