In 1932, 17-year-old Holger Nielsen won a car in a lottery, and with the money he earned from selling it, he soon established a small metal factory in the small Danish town of Randers and designed the first VIPP trash can, which has become a global design icon.
Based on Holger's simple aesthetic and functional design, VIPP created its first modular kitchen in 2011. Today, Vipp offers four different styles and designs of kitchens.
