“The combination of family values, embracing local Belgian aspects, and emphasizing design and quality makes our products timeless. People don't get tired of beautiful, high-quality items after five years.”

BULO – TIMELESS OFFICE FURNITURE FROM BELGIUM
We are pleased to represent the Bulo brand – a Belgian family business that has been creating timeless and innovative furniture for over six decades, perfectly suited for homes. The brand combines craftsmanship, architecture-inspired design, and innovative materials, using locally sourced wood and sustainable production methods.
The company was founded in 1963 by Walter Busschop, when his first design – a small filing cabinet on wheels – laid the foundation for a new office furniture company. Today, Bulo is run by the third generation of the family, and the brand has grown into an internationally recognized name in the world of designer furniture. Each piece of furniture conveys the family's passion for architecture, quality, and sustainable design.
The furniture is developed and manufactured in Mechelen, Belgium, where design, production, and material development take place in close collaboration, ensuring high quality and well-thought-out details. The brand's goal is to create furniture that improves the quality of both work and life by combining aesthetics, ergonomics, and sustainable production.

BULO COOPERATION WITH RENOWNED DESIGNERS
Bulo's strength lies in the balance between timeless design and technical quality. Over the years, the brand has collaborated with many world-renowned architects and designers, including Jean Nouvel, Gensler, Bataille & Ibens, Bram Boo, Leon Stynen, Nathalie van Reeth, Luc Vincent, and others, who have created collections that combine elegance, functionality, and durability.
One of Bulo's most important partners is Vincent Van Duysen, a world-renowned Belgian architect and designer whose work is characterized by purity, clear spatial language, and harmony between architecture, interior design, and product design. His aesthetic is based on simplicity, a deep understanding of materials, and refined proportions—lines that linger in the memory. The products created with Bulo reflect the same philosophy—less is more, both space and objects must be well thought out, serving function and beauty at the same time.

Loro Piana Head Office in Milan
The historic Palazzo Cortile della Seta in Milan, once a place for trading and storing silk rolls, is now home to the new headquarters of luxury fashion brand Loro Piana. The building's architectural heritage has been given a contemporary interpretation thanks to the interior design by architect Vincent Van Duysen, which combines the serene elegance, balanced proportions and subtle pastel tones characteristic of Milanese palaces. The interior features materials, textiles, and decorative details characteristic of the Loro Piana world, creating a timelessly refined atmosphere where every element contributes to the creation of a holistic and sensory experience.
Bulo furniture items – the VVD Chair and VVD Bistro Chair, designed by Vincent Van Duysen – also find their place in this environment. Their light and clear design language complements the architectural tranquility of the interior and harmonizes with natural materials and soft tones. For Bulo, this project is a landmark example of collaboration between an internationally renowned architect and one of the world's most prestigious luxury brands, demonstrating how their furniture can blend into even the most demanding and high-end environments.
FURNITURE FOR HOME OFFICES AND LIVING SPACES
Bulo furniture is naturally suited to home environments, blending into different rooms just as convincingly as it does in offices. Their collection includes large, high-quality tables that are ideal for the dining room, along with comfortable chairs. For living rooms, the Bulo collection offers comfortable and elegant armchairs that can be complemented with low coffee tables.
Of course, their products find their place in homes precisely because many people today work partly or entirely from home. The boundary between work and home is becoming increasingly blurred, giving rise to a 21st-century phenomenon: the home office. Even when working from home, you need a high-quality, well-designed workspace that is as functional and comfortable as an office. Bulo's timeless design and high-quality furniture fit perfectly into any living environment, bringing a professional yet natural workspace into your home interior.
