“Uba” is a low-temperature ceramic sculpture. White glaze has been poured over a brick-red organic form. A crackle effect has been used in the glazing – a deliberate technique to create the impression that the glaze is cracking. There is a slight roughness under the glaze layer, which adds nuance. The work was created for the exhibition “Premonition” curated by Kati Ilves.
