Vipp's founder responded to his wife's request with the first Vipp trash can, which is now part of the permanent architectural and design collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York as a decorative element.
The Vipp015 pedal bin is 14 litres. It is equipped with a dampening mechanism for a smooth closing of the lid and a rubber ring for airtight closure. The body material is either powder coated steel or stainless steel, concealing a removable inner container in galvanised steel. In addition, a rubber ring at the base ensures protection of sensitive surfaces.
