Amini's I Mari della Luna conceptual wool and silk rug series is a tribute statement to the moon. Designed by Elisa Ossino, the rugs are like unique works of art designed to hang on the wall as spatial concepts. The products are based on the idea of carefully hollowing and perforating thick wool and the textural effects resulting from the cutting of textile fibres. These metaphysical creations allude to the changes and upheavals of recent years. In this collection, Elisa Ossinoga continues her own design approach, characterised by geometric abstraction, monochromatic colours and references to the surreal. The carpets are hand-woven in India.
