The Duo desk lamp, designed by André Ricard in 1973, was created in response to a very specific need expressed by company executives: to provide strong task lighting without the lamp blocking the view of a conversation partner sitting on the other side of the desk. The light can be directed as needed thanks to the individually adjustable glass shades.
